Eagle Strike

Drew Barth
Eagle Strike
How would you feel if you had big news and no one believed you? In the book Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz Alex Rider a 14 year old spy has a lead on a plot against Europe. He finds out the leader is a national celebrity Damian Cray no one believes Alex because MI6 (The British Intelligence service) believes he’s too nice. When Alex goes to investigate he finds the celebrity killing people and preparing his big operation Eagle strike. Now since no one believes him he will have to fight alone with no help. That is why you should treat people how you would like to be treated.
Alex is a tough kid he is strong, brave, loyal, kind, and the list goes on and on. That’s why everyone reads this book because they can have a relation between themselves and Alex. When he fights off the bad guys you think wow that would be cool if I was him. This is why people read this book to see what they could be doing next. I can relate to that myself it just seems really fun.
Although relating to the character is important knowing the plotline has the same importance.  This book has a lot of humor tragedy and romance in it but there is only one plotline of the story and that is a comedy. First Alex starts in everyday life on a vacation. Then he finds that a very Damian Cray wants to destroy the world. That is the minor conflict. Then when he realizes that this guy is crazy and is really serious about this he realizes the danger. That is when the conflict is realized. Then he defeats him and goes back into everyday life. That is when the conflict is resolved. This is why this book is a comedy.
This book is a very good lesson learner. This book teaches us to treat each other as you would want to be treated. Eagle strike is an action packed book with lots of exciting things happening. This is why people like this book because you are always at the edge of your seat and waiting for what’s going to happen next.
