In the story Dead Man's Path the main character Michael Obi just got a brand new promotion as a head master at Ndume Central School. With that his wife and him moved to a new house. When he gets their he is very happy about his new job and the people surrounding him. But when he notices a path were the villagers go and seek their departed relatives and ancestors he wants to shut it down before the big annual check up of the school.
What's going to happen? Well I think there is a few logical ideas but this is the most clear version is the school is going to get a bad check up and the school will look worst than it does already. This is going to cause the school to shut down and the villagers will win their argument and have that ground forever. This is what I think will happen in the story of the Dead Man's Path.
