7th graders who rule the world

If seventh graders ruled the world it would be so fun. I mean you would get to say what everyone gets to do.  and make your own rules. My first rule would be every year the world goes to the new grade so I would always be in control of  the world. This is why 7th graders should rule the world.

Response to All Summer in a Day
Have you ever thought what it feels like to have no sun for seven years it must be awful. Well in the short story “All summer in a day” by Ray Bradbury living in Venus isn’t a very hard task they only get 2 hours of sunlight every seven years. But for Margot who’s lived on earth and remembers the sunlight and the wonderful white clouds there is a really hard thing for her to never get any sunlight. Since this story is an Irony because it is very unrealistic and a bad nightmare vision.
Since this story is an Irony it is really unrealistic. I mean do you know anyone who’s lived on Venus. Also even if they did live on venues can you believe that they only get two hours of sunlight every seven years? Since it is a nightmare vision that makes it an Irony story. The main character is never in control because she gets locked in a big old closet the whole time and that follows the Irony characteristics. If this story wasn’t on venues and it didn’t rain for seven years it’s probably a tragedy or comedy.
Since this story lines up with the plot line of Irony like how the world is in conflict and that they get no sun. Then the major conflict is when she gets locked in the closet.  Then death or death of sanity is when she misses the 2 hours of sun that they get every seven years.  Also in the story evil is strong and good is weak. Like when William in the story shoved her in the closet he was very evil and very powerful. And Margot was weak and she was just happy that the sun was coming out.
In this story Margot is very dumb she never even defends herself. If she did she would have been outside with the sun. Since she didn’t she got put in the closet by William. That is another reason why it is an Irony. This story is perfect to examine our fears if we didn’t have these kinds of stories we would feel our life stinks and we should improve it. When you read this story you feel good about your life and say I wouldn’t like to be Margot. These are all the reasons why I think this is an Irony.
So this is why All Summer in a Day is an Irony. It is very unrealistic and a very bad nightmare vision. It follows the Irony plotline its purpose is helping examine your fears which fits the Irony purpose. So this is why this story is an Irony.

Carroll College B-ball camp

When I went to Carroll College camp I had a very fun time. It was all drills and scrimmages and never got old. When I was there I meet a kid named Bogey. He was very funny and very good we became friends with him. He went to CM and has a friend named Erick who we made friends with too. When we first met Bogey we thought that he was so stupid but when we really got to know him he was funny and nice. One of his favorites lines were He's Stroking it Baby with a capital B. I will always remember him and I hope to see him next year at the camp.

John Wall

John Wall is a very good basketball player he just got drafted into the NBA last year he was the #1 draft overall. He is very good with assists and always seems up beat. He was a Freshmen when he got drafted one of the rare honors. He is currently on the Washington Wizards as there starting Point Guard. He is on the top 10 in assists and is a pretty good scorer. He knows how to drive to the hoop and win games I think that is one of the most important skills of a basketball player and John wall is one of them. When he was in college his team was Kentucky. He worked up from all of that and became a top tear player.

Bill the spy

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. But no one really knew who he was he did that same thing every day. I would know because I always wait for the bus to go to school. And every day he goes through that bus station and never comes out. Oh I forgot I'm Arnold, Arnold Pete. I'm an average boy very athletic and very smart.
wed Oct 28 2001
Today that man did the same thing today and I'm determined to find out. I might miss school but that's OK I have straight A's and my parents wouldn't care. So I followed him in the big bus station and saw him go into the telephone booth. I saw him he saw me so I looked away and when I looked back he was gone no were in sight just the empty telephone booth. So I went in the booth, And 10 seconds later I was speeding down through the ground which seemed I was going 1,000 mph. Then I saw light and came to a gentle stop.I was down and confused of what just happened. I saw him who he was and what he was doing. It was on a big screen that showed his location and his identity. His name was Bill and he was undercover spy for the FBI. I went over to his desk and saw him and I hide but he saw me and was very quiet. So I went over to him and I said Bill I see you everyday and I wondered what you did so I came down here and saw you talk to the FBI.But now that you know now that I work for the FBI Bill said. You most not tell anyone and if you do you will be sent to the secret service and you will never be seen ever again.
And after that Arnold never told anyone about that day, and he never saw bill again. Arnold lived a perfect life after that day.
THE END!

Soccer

Soccer is really stupid I think it's not fun and it's a third world sport. It's so boring and is so easy it's not a challenge. So i dont get how people like soccer so you should like baseball, basketball, and football. This is why soccer is stupid.

Waterslides!!

The coolest water slide I've ever been on is Black Anaconda. It is so much fun with its big drops and twists and curves. Another fun ride is stingray which you go down this big drop that makes you go back and forth. That is why I like water slides so much. BY:Drew

Roller Coster

I think roller coasters are fun especially the big Wooden one I love all the big drops the turns and everything else. The best thing I like is the drops. But one off the scariest parts of that is a ride I want on called the boss which was drop after drop and was very scary. But the rides name was "The Boss" That's when I should have figured not to go on that ride. I still go on almost every roller Coaster and that ride The Boss was ranked Tenth scariest roller coasters. Patriotism

Does Patriotism still matter?
Does patriotism still matter? I think it does I mean all the people that help you and protect you. You should be very thankful and show patriotism. Just think if you were in the war or military and you don’t get honored how that would make you feel. So you should honor them every holiday that occurs that involves them. Patriotism still matters it shows that you support this country and you’re truly a great citizen.
Patriotism should me in everyone’s life style. Of you don’t it’s like saying you hate our country. So you should think and thank the people who are fighting for your freedom and saving you from a dictatorship. That’s why we should thank our country every day. I mean that is what being a true citizen right. I think anyone who honors our flag and the people who fight for us is truly a citizen of the United States of America.
Patriotism is something that every family should acknowledge every day. I know we do in my family every day. What about you? Also patriotism is a way to support your country. It’s like saying I love my country and don’t care what other people think. Patriotism is something that should be pasted down family to family so you never can forget it. I think it would be nice for that to happen but it won’t, because people are so caught up in their day they never have time so when you’re eating dinner just remind yourself that.
So one more time do you think Patriotism still matters? I hope when you read this you think about all I said and you realize that patriotism is worth taking that extra step in your day. If you don’t remember patriotism it’s like not feeding your dog it should just be a habit. Patriotism still matters it shows that you support this country and you’re truly a great citizen.
