The book is OK it really gets boring after he finds the pearl and I have lost all interest.
Something bad has to happen to help the story regain its fun. Then the story would be a
A lot more appealing. Then when he fights against the bad and beats it the story will become good.
If I was John Steinbeck I would add a little bit more action and robbery of the pearl in the story.
